FAQ
Q: How long does the trip last?
A: A full day consists of approximately 8 hours. If the fish are still biting and the company is good, I dont mind putting in a little extra time.
Q: What weather conditions are to bad?
A: 25+ mph wind.Dont mind fishing in a little rain but no lighting.
Q: What if a trip has to be postponed?
A: If I call the trip off, due to bad weather or poor bite, then another date will be scheduled and the $100 deposit will go toward that date.
Q: Is fish cleaning provided?
A: No, there isn't any fish cleaning stations at any of the boat ramps that I use.
Q: Why is Murray and Monticello trips more expensive than Greenwood trips?
A: Theres alot more expense because I have to travel at least an hour or more to get to those lakes.
Q: Can I bring alchohol?
A: A few beers is fine but absolutely no liquor.
Q: Do I need a SC fishing license?
A: Yes, anyone 16 years old and over must have a fishing license.
Q: Why do I need to send a deposit?
A: Theres alot of time and money involved in getting ready for a trip.Such as....spending time catching bait the evening before.Filling up the truck and boat with gas and driving to the lake that morning. If nobody shows up, then the guide is out of that time and money. The deposit, at least, re-emburses the guide for some of the expense.
Q: Why is the deposit non-refundable?
A: The guide has to plan their schedule around the date that is decided on. Often times, several customers will want the same date. If a customer decides they dont want to go at the last minute, not only does the guide not have any control of that but they are also out of money because the date could have been filled by someone else.
