About Us
After lots of persuasion, I started guiding part time in 2006 and then started guiding full-time in 2008. Although guiding can be a very tough and in-consistent way to make a living, I still enjoy it very much. I like to see people catch big fish.Like this..................................................................................................................................
While me and no other guide has the ability to wave a magic wand and make fish start biting....I assure you that I do everything I can to put fish in the boat. I do everything I can to pevent a bad day. One of the main things I do to prevent it, is to be honest with people. If the bite hadnt been good a day or two before the scheduled trip, then I let the customer know so another date with better fishing can be scheduled or just change it to another lake where the bite is better.
Fish Guarantee
I wouldn't be in this business if didn't think I could consistently help customers catch big catfish, but every fishermen and guide also knows that there are tough days when the fish just won't cooperate. To me there are two types of tough days - "bad days" and then "slower than average days". In both cases I try to make sure the customer is happy.
Bad Day Policy
If the day happens to be very bad then you will get a return trip for $100 on Murray/Monticello or $50 on Greenwood (to cover my costs, especially gas). No BS, no hidden fees and no surcharges. Period.
Slower than average day
If fishing is slower than average I will spend a extra hour or two, on top of the eight hour trip, trying to turn a slow day into a more productive one. If, however, the trip is still not up to par after an extra couple of hours then I will negotiate with you for a return price that is fair to you and me. My goal is to make everyone come away happy and to build repeat business, and if you leave dissatisfied then I'm failing at both of these.
