What you can expect to catch.

Channel cats are the most widespread catfish on this lake.On an average day, you can expect to catch 10 to 25 per day. Most will be 4 to 8 lbs, with an occasional trophy channel or two in the 10 to 15 lb range.A big flathead will show up from time to time while drifting for channels and they can be real big sometimes.

What you can expect to catch.

Big blue cats are the target here.I use the set up and wait on a monster style of fishing here. Most days you can expect to catch 5 to 15 fish but theres a good chance there will be several 20 to 40 lb fish and some bigger.

Lake Murray

What you can expect to catch.

Here, the catch is normally a mixed bag of 12 to 18 lb blues and 4 to 8 lb channel cats.A much bigger fish will show up from time to time but its not nearly as a consistent producer for big fish as Monticello is but the action is alot faster. The average number of fish per day here is 10 to 25 sometimes alot more.
